Salami Muhydeen
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Muhydeen is a self-taught software engineer turned entrepreneur who grew up witnessing the friction that poor technology infrastructure caused for African businesses — from manual record-keeping to unreliable power and the constant search for affordable digital tools.
Armed with deep technical expertise spanning web development, IoT, and enterprise systems, he built SMAT Concept from a one-person consultancy in 2019 into a multi-disciplinary technology company serving clients across West and East Africa.
His leadership philosophy centres on empathy, craftsmanship, and an unshakeable belief that homegrown African tech solutions, when built right, can compete and win on the global stage.
